Ferro is aimed to deal with high-SPL sources, the large-diaphragm alternative to your favorite dynamic close-mic on drums, bass, electric guitars and powerful vocals.

Ferro has a minimalistic approach, designed to bring the idea of close miking to a higher level with a fusion of the great transistor classics equipped with an output transformer made to specification and a center-terminated capsule.

The omnidirectional response is obtained mechanically, further decreasing the sensitivity of the microphone and attenuating the proximity effect.

The hexagonal mesh guarantees the highest possible ratio between open surface and structural seal to minimize phase interference caused by reflections inside the capsule housing.
